so, a couple of weeks ago i acquired a customer to do some outdoor work for. Clearing some brush for a couple hours a day one day a week.
As we talked ,I ended up mentioning How great the message is In the grateful dead songs. and to my surprise he agreed and then mentioned the song’ ripple’ a song I sing/sang both my kids and have from their birth and tend to call my mowers ripple one and ripple two.
Anyway next thing I know We scheduled a, what I like to call a “spirit” walk or A walk together taking some time out of his schedule to talk and help me adjust internally ,with some things on my mind.
helping me create a nice reminding mantra for myself, and it goes…” i’m amazed and grateful of how effortless I have been able to provide for my family and I gladly accept more of the same and better.”
these things, I believe, are needed to defeat my own worries and keep on the ” sunnyside of life.” I thanked him for the time of self-care and continued on my day.
I’m so thankful for music ,for all you are to us! What a fantastic bridge between people!
Another helpful mantra of mine is when i drink water i repeat the words, ” healing love and peace”. Ever since I watched that thing where they froze water molecules with blessings versus negativity. whether that was real or not , It did make me Remember a time When I truly felt Water was alive and as a part of us In so many ways.
