A little about me

My music of choice was a string of ’70s rock and roll up until finding the grateful dead in 1992.

rock and roll to heavy metal, those messages and lyrics etc. the guess who and the Steve Miller Band Really resonated with me. In fact, the Steve Miller Band opening for the the grateful dead was my first Grateful Dead concert!
I believe it was a pivotal point for me, in a realization that I was not so alone in my thoughts.

I bought the ‘American Beauty’ cassette, spent that winter listening. so for me, it was like all gears meshed together and I found a pure sense of who I align with and a direction in outside my restless youth.

being 19 years old at the time i had trouble finding out where I belonged. I loved everything and did not want to live in fear but to live in that love. So that spring 1993 I traded the vehicles I had for a camper converted school bus and set out to see.

Without a net I had an atlas and a compass pointing the way! the music of a band that seemed to have fans that felt very similar to myself,a love for all ! I’m forever grateful for the grateful dead!
